Tufts University Jackson Jills

Founded in 1963, the Jackson Jills is Tufts' oldest all-female a cappella group. We are named after Jackson College, the former all-female college of Tufts University. A group of enthusiastic women, we share a common passion for music. Over the years, the Jills have sung at Symphony Hall with the Boston Pops and for personalities including John Kerry. Our recordings have received many Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards, and selected tracks have appeared on BOCA and CAMO best-of a cappella albums. We also sing at as many schools and fundraising events as we possibly can, sharing our love of music with local students. We are highly acclaimed for our vocal styles which range from standards like Madonna to new-comers like Natasha Bedingfield and The Fray. We strive to live up to our motto of being "cutting-edge a cappella."
